School Activities & Co-Curriculars

At Spring Garden Matriculation School, education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We strongly believe that activities and co-curricular programs are essential for holistic development, helping students discover their talents, build confidence, and learn valuable life skills. Each stage of schooling is carefully designed to nurture creativity, teamwork, discipline, and leadership.

Kindergarten (LKG & UKG)

For our youngest learners, activities are built around play, exploration, and expression. Storytelling, rhymes, art & craft, music, and simple games help children improve language, motor skills, and social interaction. Festivals and theme-based celebrations create joyful experiences that instill cultural awareness and a sense of belonging.

Primary School (Std. I – V)

In the primary years, co-curriculars are integrated with academics to build confidence and curiosity. Children participate in drawing, painting, clay modeling, spelling bees, recitation, storytelling competitions, and simple science experiments. Sports and physical education ensure they remain active and healthy, while cultural programs foster creativity and expression.

Middle School (Std. VI – VIII)

At this stage, students take part in a wide range of clubs and activities that develop leadership and teamwork. Literary clubs, science clubs, eco-clubs, and quiz competitions stimulate intellectual growth. Sports events, athletics, and inter-house competitions encourage discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Participation in cultural events, debates, and exhibitions further enhances their personality and communication skills.

High School (Std. IX – X)

For senior students, co-curricular activities are focused on shaping character and preparing for future challenges. They are encouraged to participate in leadership programs, student council activities, subject-based fairs, and inter-school competitions. Sports, yoga, and fitness programs develop endurance and focus. Career guidance sessions, motivational seminars, and community service activities help them connect learning with real-life experiences.
